Session details

In a world of deep fakes and AI horror stories, are there any benefits to using AI in something as vitally important as your identity access management (IAM)? This session examines the dual role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the identity and access management landscape—both as a powerful enabler and as a growing source of risk. It will explore how AI is being used to enhance IAM capabilities such as adaptive authentication, fraud detection, identity proofing, and access governance through behavioural analytics and automation. At the same time, the discussion will address emerging AI-driven threats, including deepfake-based identity fraud, automated account takeover, and social engineering at scale. Attendees will gain a balanced perspective on how to harness AI responsibly within IAM while strengthening defences against AI-enabled attacks, and will leave with practical insights into future-proofing identity strategies in an increasingly intelligent threat environment.
